Back to Owlbut's History of England


The third twenty five years of the twentieth century. It was a time of massive change in daily life.

Yet, amongst all the change, we had one monarch who reigned for 24 of those years and then all of the next 25.

It was a time when young people began to make their voice heard. We may not have changed all that much but we tried.
