Up to this point all costs incurred in running the Owlbut's Wold of Learning website have been covered by Richard Rowland. He doesn't, and never
will, take a salary for any of the work he does.
Furthermore he, or supporters, have provided all the equipment that we need to carry out our tasks. We don't use outside firms to do things, we edit
the videos ourselves, we code the website ourselves. However, our new venture, School of the Air, has additional costs that Richard will be unable to
meet. There will be some locational filming in different places and that will cost. Again, while Richard manages to do all this with no salary just surviving,
as people of his age should, on his pension, Molly is nowhere near her pension age and if recent practices keep being followed, she might never get there.
It would be impossible to carry out the School of the Air without her. She has superb specialist knowledge and is also an invaluable extra pair of hands
when we are on locational filming. Molly will need a salary although we have set it at no more than the current minimum wage. Neither of us, therefore, are
seeking to make any money from this venture.

If after listening and reading, and we do hope you read everything we are trying to do, you agree with the need for our School of the Air we hope, if you can
afford it, that you will be able to help in some small way. Well. if you can help in large way that would be lovely. As we say, the government estimate that there are 97,000 children
being home educated. To provide our resource would need 33p per child each year. Yes, read that again. Please help this project go ahead and make suree those children do not miss out on their
learning opportunities.
