For some years Molly was the leader at a Forest School. She built up the site, designed the programmes and provided the resources almost single-handedly. Sadly, due to the lack of support from the owners of the land the Forest School had to close in August 2023. The following are comments from parents both while the school was functioning and when they heard it was due to close. OK, the last one is biased and although I am a parent my 49 year-old daughter did not attend.

I had attended a couple of sessions in the summer to help settle my little girl and get to know the set up and it was incredible. There is NO WHERE like this available anywhere around Clacton or Colchester, at all. It was a rare, hidden gem that was entirely unsupported. Molly had created what I had dreamt of as an early education setting for my children and I couldn’t believe I had found it. It was like my little bubble had been burst when it closed. Well done Molly for creating such a stimulating, healthy and engaging environment for little children to learn and thrive, it seems very apparent to me that it will be missed by many parents and will leave a gaping hole in early years education that nothing can compare to. The owners should be ashamed of themselves.

Amazing morning at Little Hawks Forest School holiday club session. Molly is amazing and the activities are so well thought of. My son absolutely loved the mud kitchen despite the rain and also enjoyed helping light a fire Amazing opportunity’s for the children to enjoy outdoor!! Highly recommend

The little hawk forest school did my boys joint birthday party today, 5 and 1. I honestly can't recommend these guys enough. The kids had the most amazing time, and the adults. Molly was amazing and calm even though there was 20 kids. Every party I host, will now be at this place. For adults also. Stunning area, amazing hosts and they will do everything u need for the party. AMAZING AND SO HAPPY
