In 1910 the money they used was slightly different from now. They still used pounds but instead of 100 pence in every pound, in those days, there were 20 shillings in every pound and 12 pence in every shilling. It all changed in 1971. I have shown you the prices in the money used in 1910, what that would be in the money we use now and also the value today of that money.
