Back to the Stone Age calendar

The Tudors
Timeline

The Stone Age was coming to an end. In our timeline, we have decided to use 2,300BC as the actual end. As I said before, it wasn’t a fixed change. It wasn’t like the end of a year and a new one begins. It was a gradual change from one way of living, in this case mainly with stone, flint and wood, to another period where Bronze ruled. The Stone Age lasted about 2,200 years, longer than the time from the birth of Jesus until now and yet change had been slow. People had stopped being hunter-gatherers and moving around. They had settled down in one place and even begun to live as communities in villages. They had started to trade and instead of one person needing all the skills necessary to live, people had begun to share their skills around but, it had all taken 2,200 years to happen.
