If you remember back in 304AD, Christians were being killed in Britain. Then in 314AD Emperor Constantine became a
Christian and allowed that Christianity could be celebrated. Now, less than 90 years after Christianity was outlawed, a complete change took place and all
pagan religions were now banned.
Many pagan temples were destroyed and all pagan rituals and celebrations were also banned. Some pagan holidays were changed to become Christian ones.
But within 16 years it didn't really matter what the emperors of Rome decided about religion or anything else. However you will have to wait for
the next period in our history of England to find out.
