Kosovo is a country in the south east corner of Europe. It is a disputed land which means that not all countries in the world recognise it as a separate country.
Kosovo is a landlocked country, which means it has no borders with a coast.
The land is mainly flat but surrounded by several high mountain ranges.

The currency in Kosovo is the euro. Kosovo is, however, not a member of the European Union although it has the right to apply for potential candidate status 
which precedes being given candidate status. It has not yet applied. 
Albanian is the official language.
