Back to the Birth Of The Millennials calendar
Personal history here. In July of this year, I set out on my first trip around the UK coast. You can read about it here. It was an amazing experience and my two children, aged 10 and 7, saw places and learnt things they would not have done in school.
Now, when they are pretty old parents themselves, they can still remember quite a lot of the time we spent travelling. Each week we stayed in a different part of Great Britain, usually in a cottage of some sort and each day we would go out and look at the scenery and places around us.
We had all sorts of different weather with snow in Cornwall, a storm in Scotland and an absolutely horrible sea crossing to the Isle of Man. It must have been good though, because I keep doing it.
