Chad is a vast country in central north Africa.
Chad is a land locked country with no sea borders.
The land is mostly broad, arid plains in the centre, desert in the north and some mountains in the north west.

The Chadian flag is three equal vertical stripes of blue, on the flagpole side, gold, and red. Blue represents the sky, hope, and the south of the country,
which is relatively well-watered, gold represents the sun, as well as the desert in the north of the country and red stands for progress, unity and sacrifice.
