Culture is built around the internet and watching movies on a laptop, phone or ipad. Very young children have these devices. There are many religions in England but it is the non-English ones which have more followers. Most people will take a holiday abroad each year although a weekend or day-trip to the beach is still popular. Special play parks for young children exist and there are big themes parks around the country. Rap music is the most popular with the young. Children are probably buying or being bought less toys as they spend time playing on the internet. Although social media companies claim they have lower age limits, this doesn't seem to stop younger people having accounts. Social media can also be used to upset and bully people. No one seems to know how to stop it. Old people will spend their leisure time watching television. England has over 800 TV channels although many of them show repeats of old programmes or are what is called +1 which means they show the same programme as another channel but an hour later. I don't understand this as people have TV boxes which can record programmes. Sport is very popular both to watch and play. Football is the biggest sport but older people, like the Queen, go horse racing. England has many gyms where younger people will exercise. New exercise crazes keep appearing such as Zumba, trampolining and prama.
